2025 was an incredible year for Baxter’s Boards—a year of stretching skills, taking on bigger challenges, and creating pieces that will live at the center of people’s homes, offices, and gathering places for years to come.
One of the highlights of this year was building several large, custom tables. Each project pushed craftsmanship, design, and engineering to a new level. From massive single-slab dining tables with hand made legs, to elegant live-edge desks, to beautifully finished conference and meeting tables, every build came with its own story, challenges, and rewarding final reveal. There is something special about knowing families will gather, meals will be shared, prayers will be prayed, work will be done, and memories will be made around these pieces. That is why I love what I do.
Another milestone this year was becoming a vendor at
. Having my work displayed and available alongside other incredible artists has been both humbling and exciting. It has allowed more people to discover handcrafted woodwork, and it has opened new doors for creativity, collaboration, and inspiration. Being part of that community has truly been a blessing this year.
As 2025 comes to a close, I am grateful—for customers who trust me with meaningful projects, for opportunities to grow, and for the chance to turn raw lumber into lasting craftsmanship.
But the journey is far from over.
Looking Ahead to 2026
2026 is already shaping up to be a year of even bigger vision and continued refinement. The plan is to:
Build more large, custom tables and statement pieces
Continue expanding offerings through The Sky Gallery
Create more unique, functional woodworking that blends beauty, durability, and purpose
Keep pushing forward, improving process, finishing techniques, and design
Thank you to everyone who supported Baxter’s Boards in 2025. Whether you purchased something, trusted me with a custom project, or simply followed along, it truly means more than you know.
Here’s to new builds, new opportunities, and an exciting 2026 ahead.
